Prime Wafer

Prime wafers are the wafers to produce IC chips directly and are used for forming circuit pattern on the substrate and manufacturing devices. Therefore, prime wafers are strictly controlled in resistivity, metal, flatness and particle which are connected with function of device. As described above, prime wafers are customized in specification to meet every user’s requirement. Generally, the quality is high and specification is strict. The rejected wafers can be reclaimed or used as raw material for solar cells.
